TARGETED TRAINING

Once the S2 Eval quantifies an athlete's cognitive skills in their sport, the S2 Score Report shows how to put in the work in a more purposeful and productive way by leveraging their individual data to determine what type of training is needed for improvement.

The S2 Score Report is personalized:

+ Shows how the scores translate to performance

+ Indicates core areas of strength

+ Identifies weaknesses to focus training on

+ Unlocks training tactics to improve their game

+ Training tips with basic core principles to improve

Small improvement with S2’s player development training highly increases probability of success.

S2 works directly with college and pro coaches to develop cognitive training tactics that allow athletes to see, think, and react differently. Here is a small sample of S2 Cognition's Level 01 Baseball training for adapting perception speed skills...

PITCH CALL OUT DRILLS

+ Commit to studying the visual cues and patterns of different pitch types so that you recognize them quickly

+ Stand in the batter’s box during bullpen sessions and call out the pitch type (curveball, slider, 4-seam, etc.)

+ Be sure to call out the pitch type as early as you can before the ball crosses the hitting zone
